In this edition of Writs & Cures the team are joined by Jill Gallagher, one of Victoria's leading advocates for aboriginal health, education and culture. Jill is the CEO of VACCHO the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation. Jill talks about the challenges of reducing the gap between indigenous and non-indigenous health, and the importance of culture to health.
Also in this edition the team briefly follow up on a discussion they had in the previous episode about the proposed voluntary assisted dying legislation with Julian Gardiner, a senior lawyer and member of the Ministerial Advisory Panel on Voluntary Assisted Dying.
And lawyer Katie Miller shares some new and old things happening at the Supreme Court of Victoria and, in particular, the Law Library of Victoria. You might have seen the dome from the outside, but have you ever ventured inside?
